My Story
Dr. Manisha Korb M.D. is a neuromuscular neurologist, with board certification in both Neurology and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Duke University and medical degree from the University of Virginia. She completed her residency at the University of Chicago, where she also served as chief resident. She completed her neuromuscular focused electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Chicago. She then spent seven years at the
University of California Irvine as an associate clinical professor in a designated Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Center. While there, she diagnosed and managed complex patient cases, taught medical students, residents, and fellows, and ran multiple clinical trials. She subsequently relocated to Florida to join Palm Beach Neurology.
Dr. Korb’s clinical interests include spinal muscular atrophy, neuropathy, Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS), CIDP, ALS, myasthenia gravis, muscular dystrophy, and myositis. She also manages general neurology conditions such as balance disorders, dizziness, tremors, memory loss, and strokes. She is proficient in performing nerve conduction studies and electromyography (NCS/EMG), intramuscular Botox injections for spasticity, skin biopsies for small fiber neuropathy, and intrathecal medication administration (ie. spinraza for SMA).
She is the author of several published articles on neuromuscular disorders, and she is a frequent presenter for medical and patient communities. She has received several awards and honors, including Castle Connolly Top Doctor 2023 and Orange County Medical Association Physician of Excellence 2024. She prides herself on compassionate and comprehensive care of neurology patients, paying attention to detail and leading with a personalized approach to each patient's unique needs
