Gladys Hernandez, MD

Dr. Gladys Hernandez is a fellowship-trained neurologist with specialized expertise in epilepsy and seizure disorders. Originally from Cuba, she earned her medical degree from the American University of Antigua and completed her Internal Medicine internship at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She then completed her Neurology residency and specialized fellowship training in Epilepsy at Albany Medical Center.


Dr. Hernandez provides compassionate, evidence-based care for adults with a wide range of neurological conditions, including epilepsy and seizure disorders, headaches and migraines, movement disorders, and memory and cognitive concerns. She has a particular passion for caring for individuals living with epilepsy and believes that successful neurological care begins with listening to each patient, understanding their individual needs, and creating a treatment plan together.
After spending several years in Albany, New York, Dr. Hernandez recently made the move to beautiful Palm Beach County and is excited to call South Florida home. When she is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her beloved fur baby, Darwin, who is also settling into his new Florida lifestyle.
