Tara Becker, M.D. is dual board-certified in Neurology and Epilepsy. She earned her medical degree from the Florida State University College of Medicine, completed her neurology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, and pursued fellowship training in Epilepsy at the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Dr. Becker specializes in the diagnosis and management of adults with epilepsy and seizures, as well as other neurological conditions including migraine, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. She has advanced expertise in electroencephalography (EEG), including interpretation of ambulatory continuous video EEG monitoring.

 

She is highly trained in evaluating and referring patients with medically refractory epilepsy for surgical treatment when appropriate, and she provides comprehensive care in the programming and management of neuromodulation devices such as vagus nerve stimulation (VNS).
