My Story
Dr. Jose A. Zuniga, M.D. brings extensive training and experience in neurology to his patients. He completed medical school at the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia, followed by Internal Medicine training at Wayne State University, Neurology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and a Neurophysiology Fellowship at the Montreal Neurological Institute. After his training, he joined the staff of Henry Ford Hospital’s Department of Neurology.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Zuniga serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at Nova Southeastern University. He has been dedicated to advancing neurological care in Palm Beach County, previously directing the area’s seizure clinics, and has contributed as a sub-investigator in numerous clinical trials for conditions including Alzheimer’s disease, headaches, and multiple sclerosis.

Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Dr. Zuniga specializes in neuromuscular and immunological disorders such as neuropathies, multiple sclerosis, and myasthenia gravis, as well as other complex neurological conditions including headaches, memory loss, and seizures. Known for his compassionate approach, he is committed to providing individualized care that helps improve his patients’ quality of life.
